This site is not just about Lowriders or street punks or gangs or   lowlife or what have you.  Even though some of that was and still is a part of Linda Vista. Just like anywhere else, with a few exceptions. There are many sections of town, good and bad. As time goes on and more info is uploaded, this home page will change. For now, the street life is what I knew of growing up there in the 60's thought part of the 80's so this is what I post.

I'd like to say that all my friends got good jobs, married and had good kids that went to college. Truth is, only a small number ever got married, and then only a few stayed married.  I can only say that I am one of the luckiest guys around to have met the girl I married, even though I married at 29, which might mean why I stayed married. I was ready then and was getting tired of the street life. But those were some fun times...
